iPhone The 7 is a rather strange model. It was supposed to bring significant design changes, but not many of them happened. Pro For some people, this is a useless model that they would definitely not switch to, for others it is iPhone 7 again the perfect smartphoneone 2016, which has basically everything they wanted. The design is also certainly appealing to a certain group, especially the new matte and glossy black varianta.
But what are the real reasons why owners of older models are switching to the new one? iPhone 7 or iPhone 7 Plus? We can only speculate, but Bank of America decided to really find out. In its recent consumer survey, it found the top 9 reasons why people are upgrading to iPhone 7/7 More.

Surprisingly, the new dual camera isn't in first place. That's where the longer battery life comes in, which, according to the company itself, would be AppThe battery life was supposed to be two hours for the smaller model and one hour for the Plus model. Water resistance came in second place, which is not surprising. A little behind it were better camera capabilities and immediately after that a faster processor, which was mentioned by 52% of respondents.
But the survey reveals one interesting thing: users are new to the iPhone 7 did not pass because of a slightly nicer appearance or more interesting colors variantám, they were ranked second to last, but mainly because of new functions and features. It is clear that the most desired thing from new smartphones is longer battery life, when people are willing to switch to a new model for two or one hour of extra battery life.

So those are the curling reasons :-) They are actually all the "improvements". What the competition has had as a standard for a long time, that's what it has Apple as a novelty for a phone for 20 k and more :-) Just as I skipped the "S" models before, I'll skip this one this time too. For miniAt least 25k and more, for the Plus version, it's pitifully little.
So, how do you know that those who responded to the survey didn't miss a model? AppThe lifespan (both technical and moral) is very decent, skipping one or even two generations is quite common.
I can see it around me too - among 6S users, it is really more "enthusiasts" who upgrade to 7, but among those who had the original 6 or even something even older, there is quite a lot of interest in the 7 model. And surprisingly, I also encountered quite similar priorities – water resistance and slightly longer battery life (especially for the model without plus) were mentioned quite often.
I am a regular user - I switched from S7edge and I would say that I regret it a little... Display, camera - tragedy, battery life, appearance and workmanship worse (compared to S7e). This will be the first iPhone, where I won't hesitate for a minute and immediately after the SGS8 presentation will go to my daughter....
Mainly the self-destruction function that Samsung introduces is a blast! ? Definitely a reason to switch.
Hans – your comment reminds me of a joke. "I don't know English, I don't know how to use a computer and I don't have a driver's license. So why are you here? Well, just so you don't count on me" :-)
I had a 5s and I would have been fine with it until the fall of next year, but I got an offer that I couldn't refuse, and thanks to that, the new 7 has become the least expensive of all the iPhones I've had so far. :) As for the improvement, which I would probably switch (just a bit later) to the 7, one way or another, it's also better battery life and then optical image stabilization... "Bonuses" in the form of a faster processor or better water resistance of course pleasure too. :)
Unterwassermann - I've always been somewhat "fascinated" by people who regularly alternate between Samsungs and iPhones and vice versa... It seems to me that I can't really use either one or the other... I've been using iPhones for years, apart from the long-term hardware quality and stability of the axis, also because over the years I've downloaded and used a lot of applications from app store, the contents of which I certainly wouldn't want to regularly transfer from one axis to another and even pay twice for it... In addition, the whole family and most of my surroundings also use iPhone, so I use it a lot, for example. imessage or sharing photos via iCloud… Other benefits to me iPhone brought in connection with use MacBooku or iPad... That's why I can't imagine that I wouldn't hesitate for a minute to switch to SG8, even if it had the best display in the world, a camera like Hasselblad and battery life like my Nokia 1610 in 1996... :) We'll see if it won't be necessary to have e.g. and a firearms license, because I don't have that either... :))
I upgraded, but neither of these reasons was the main one for me.
I have owned a 2,5c for over 5 years. I've never had a cell phone last this long before I switched to Apple.
But the battery didn't last very long and the charging didn't work well due to my fault, and the reason would be that it wasn't exactly cheap, etc.
So I said, "hell yea" on iPhone 8 (even though it's supposed to be "revolutionary" - again) I don't want to wait any longer and VUALA.. in my own hands since the first day of sale and I'm very satisfied so far :)
