Drops are something that iPhone owners, and not only them, are very afraid of. Today's phones are supposed to last a lot, but bad luck always helps that the phone falls so awkwardly that the front or back is damaged in some way. I had big problems with this iPhone 4 and 4s, which had glass on both the front and back. However, a story has now appeared on the web in which it plays a major role iPhone 5s, which its user dropped from a cruise ship and the phone fell 2500 feet before hitting the ground. Surprisingly, it survived.
This message was first published by Ph.one Arena, later took over and added a website iDropnews. It should be a true story, however unrealistic it may seem. Canadian Jeannine Buck was on a sightseeing flight in a small Cessna when she took interesting photos from a height of less than 800 meters. She had her phone stuck out the window when a strong gust of wind appeared out of nowhere and literally knocked the phone out of her hand. Suddenly, she witnessed her phone falling through the clouds and heading towards the ground.
It's certainly a sight no phone owner would want to experience. The idea of your phone falling 800 meters deep and getting a big shock at the end is not a pleasant one. However, the Canadian woman decided to try to find her phone, which turned out to be a relatively simple task. Using the Find My Phone proved her iPhone find it and to her surprise it still worked and what's more, it showed no signs of major damage. The plain case caused only light scratches on the phone but was otherwise fully functional. This means that if you're planning on throwing your phone out of an airplane, make sure you have a case on it and that there's some vegetation underneath you to slow down the fall significantly. Then you're good to go.

She was lucky that he fell into the forest and not into the water.
He fell out of a plane last week. OnePlus3, two weeks before that Samsung S7 both worked, coincidence? I don't think so, you know those PR events when someone accidentally finds Rolexes in the sea that fell out of someone's plane five years before? The newspapers always write about it... so what.
