The test begins by turning on all models simultaneously. The most powerful and largest 12,9-inch model is turned on first. iPad Pro and lastly the iPad 3, which is known as the worst iPad of all time. Then it was time for the GeekBench performance test. Here, the better scores logically went from the newest to the oldest iPad. However, there is one exception, and that is the iPad 3, which has an even lower score than the iPad 2.
If we don't count the first generation, in the HTML5 test they all performed exactly the same, except for the iPad 3, which is a bit worse here too. Under load, the iPad 3 and iPad "4" got the most heated. If we look at the speaker volume, the loudest is the large one iPad Pro, while the quietest is the first iPad mini. The first generation iPad was eliminated in the camera test, as it has none. The others improved from generation to generation, and perhaps the biggest leap was with the iPad Air.
