There have been rumors about the project for several months Titan, which is publicly known as the project Apple CarHowever, the project Apple still didn't express though registered three domains, which with Apple Car closely related. Google makes no secret of its car and has been testing a car that drives itself for several years. Google has now suffered a major blow when the car's "autopilot" misjudged the situation and caused a traffic accident. Server Autoblog wrote that the Google car crashed into the bus after the system misjudged the situation in which the bus was driving against the car. The Google car was supposed to cross into another lane, but it didn't. Fortunately, no one was injured in the traffic accident and the impact was rather minor.
Since the car is running Google's unfinished software, some experts believe that this had to happen in order for Google to learn from its mistakes. "Even if self-driving vehicles can predict all possible dangers on the roads, there is always aance that the software can get confused and not make the right decisions. But it is clear that autonomous cars are safer than their human counterparts," wrote the motoring magazine Autblog.
The vehicle uses various systems such as radar, lidar, GPS and computer vision to detect its surroundings. The first self-driving vehicle hit the road in 2012, and since then each car has reportedly traveled 150 kilometers per week. It was a Toyota Prius, which Google has been using since the beginning. In 2015, Google said they currently have 23 of these cars and have had a total of 2012 minor accidents on public roads since 14.

It was not a Toyota Prius, but a Lexus RX450h. ;)
Hello, thanks for your comment. According to our information, the first car that left was a Toyota Prius. But you're right, Google currently has a Lexus RX450h and even an Audi TT in its fleet.
"Since the car is driven by Google's unfinished software"
I already thought that the car was controlled by Google Android, but it "controls" only phones.
David Grebeň: Yes, the Toyota Prius was driving, but the Lexus was involved in the accident. :)
Wow, that's an event. Google car in more than two years and more than 10M kilometers driven, it caused the first accident and that is even more questionable because according to the report, the driver would have assessed the situation the same. But since it's Google, it's a terrible tragedy and the unfinished SW is to blame, right?
