More or less every year there is a conspiracy, isn't it Apple deliberately slows down iOS on older devices to maintain sales. Is that really the case or is it just the fact that new versions iOS they are simply optimized for newer and more powerful hardware, we can only speculate about that for now. However, some don't want to speculate and instead want to act and try to make a difference. The result is a class action lawsuit filed by disgruntled users on Apple for how slowly it runs iOS 9 on old devices, especially then on iPhone 4s, which is the oldest supported device on the market today and is an achievement that sa Apple he did not cough up this device. But as you can see, sometimes it really does "For a Beggar's Goodness".
They blamed the users Apple from unfair business practices and also from deceptive advertising, which sa Apple supposedly committed by the team saying that iOS 9 is compatible with iPhone 4s, even if it's not exactly the fastest here. Well, actually, it's a little slower than here iOS 8 and significantly slower than iOS 7. In addition, users are dissatisfied with the fact that they cannot downgrade to a lower version of the system and once they switch to iOS 9, there is no turning back. The result is an almost unusable device on which the keyboard crashes, the camera sometimes does not even turn on and Safari sometimes it falls and in the summer months the phone gets really hot even with basic tasks (note experience). The device behaves this way especially when there is a lot of content on it, be it apps, music, photos or e-mails. Similar symptoms are also described by more than 100 damaged customers who from AppThey are seeking a total of $5 million in damages. In addition, they mention application crashes from App Storu and impaired touch screen responses.
Plaintiffs then raise two additional issues. Apple according to them he knew that iOS 9 on older devices (especially on iPhone 4s) too much nestoops, but he still released an update and falsely stated that this one iOS improves battery life and increases device performance. Which is true because Apple did not warn in any way that this only applies to newer devices and not to mobile phones from 2011. To make matters worse, the plaintiffs also accused Apple from keeping the business thanks App Store. There is a much larger widthancand, that people who enter the ecosystem iOS a App Store, they will continue to use iPhone and they won't switch to Android, and if they do, they won't want to pay for the same apps twice.
However, the owners also noticed a significant slowdown iPhone 6 who complained that after switching to iOS 9.0 their phone was slower, but that improved after the update to iOS 9.1.

first comment this year?
I would give them! Really, for goodness sake, beg for it. Such a long support is unprecedented compared to the competition and they are still complaining. However, I would agree with this downgrade. On such old devices, I would allow a downgrade (at your own risk for security reasons-> and not that they would sue again! ) to the latest stable version of the previous two generations iOS. But that's okay nestyeah, so it doesn't matter :-D
it's a pity that the reader doesn't work on iphonewhen I open the article :/
Greetings and wishing you a nice 2016.
And now just a note, maybe it's just me being stupid, but when I log in I'm missing one letter :)
And I couldn't log in or add a post in the mobile version.
Don't take this as a criticism, just a note.
Best regards, Machala Josef
Happy New Year.
Is there no way to revert the original design? The new one is appalling….
The old design was better. This is a celebration of advertising that transcends all limits. The whole thing looks more like a discount leaflet in the local cheap supermarket than a website about Apple.
RD: As far as I know, articles about what was done and what were the successes, etc., were done.
As for the new design, everything takes time, and just like the old design, this one will develop gradually. However, we thank you for notifying us of individual errors and we are working on solving them. Besides, they say that change is life and I think that after so many years, change will come ;)
ProIn the mobile version, the reader sometimes doesn't work and I can't log in? ProI'll finish another interesting website, it's a matter of habit :)
PF2016
Otherwise, I agree with the opinions that I have never seen such an appalling website with ads. An actual promotional flyer from Penny or Aldi.
And just a little technicality, you're playing wannabes Apple experts and so on Safari On OS-X, I see 2 character subsets of screen fonts in the comments for some punctuation...

Like everyone else, I was curious about the new design. Paradoxically, I definitely think the mobile version is better, because there are fewer ads. But of course I respect that this is what makes you live, so it probably can't be much different. I'm more concerned about the design of the articles, which in my opinion is quite confusing. It's probably a matter of habit, but at first glance I can't even read the title and I still can't see the date and time of the article. For me, it's just a bit of an unfortunate combination and probably a step backwards overall. Internet design is currently going in a completely different direction. Of course, you are a website about Applu and Jobs also went their own way.
I liked the new design. I looked here shortly after midnight and saw the new design. Although I didn't study it for hours, I didn't like it at first either, but after a few minutes of watching it I liked it and it's a shame you brought it back.
It feels a bit like iOS. At first, hardly anyone new design iOS 7 didn't like it and now it's the exact opposite (at least for most).
And Dadejs gave a good sentence at the end:
"But you are a website about App"Lu and Jobs also went their own way."
So much for my opinion.
Well, I think it was downloaded more because it was not possible to log in or add a post in the mobile version.
Another thing is that the date over the picture is not very suitable, especially when the background is the same color.
He probably just wants to tune it out for a while.
I would immediately sue too :-D
even if in the event of losing your iPhone If you take care of your 4s a lot and have the demanding functions turned off (like me), you can get by with it. iOS 9 pretty good (it was much better before of course) :-)
The result will be that Apple it will stop supporting older devices much earlier.
