WhatsApp, an application belonging to the company Facebook and the most popular texting service for mobile phones, has been quite active recently. After the week-old introduction of the web service WhatsApp for Google browser Chrome is now launching a new product that is sure to attract attention. It is the company's own SIM card, which WhatsApp called WhatSim and which allows you to use the application WhatsApp and others almost all over the world without the need to be connected to the Internet, either via Wi-Fi or your operator's data connection.
With WhatSIM, there's no need to look for Wi-Fi connections abroad or pay for expensive roaming data to send messages via WhatsApp. Just buy a SIM card for €10, which will give you 50 MB of data for a whole year, which is equivalent to approximately 25 text messages. Then you just need to be in one of the 000 supported countries. countries (including the Czech Republic and Slovakia) and be connected to one of the more than 400 operators that WhatSIM supports worldwide.
However, if you also want to send multimedia files, which include images, videos and voice messages, then you need to top up WhatSIM with special credits offered by the company. The possibility of using individual credits varies depending on which country you are in. Individual countries are divided into several zones and in each zone each activity costs a certain number of credits. You will certainly be pleased that most European countries are in the first zone, i.e. the cheapest. If you travel frequently in Europe and use WhatsApp as your primary messaging app, then WhatSIM might be for you.
What's also interesting is that you don't have to limit yourself to just WhatsApp, but you can also use another texting service. If the app doesn't block it, you can use WhatSim for Viber, Wire, or even for iMessage. However, whether it will be allowed to call, for example, via Viber or via Face Time is not mentioned on the official website. On the other hand, a huge disadvantage is that WhatSim does not support sending SMS messages, calling via the operator or browsing the Internet thanks to mobile Internet. For this reason, the sim card is intended more for phones that support two or more SIM cards.
When ordering WhatSim itself, in addition to the country, you also choose the method of transport, the faster one costs €15, while the sim card should arrive at your home within 3-5 days from the date of order. If you choose cheaper shipping, which will cost you €10, expect that you will receive the SIM card in as little as 15 days from the order date. You can also buy the mentioned credits directly to WhatSim, up to €50, for which you will receive 10 credits, which is enough to send 000 photos or 500 ten-second videos.

WhatSim is not a product WhatsApp!
