Intel has launched four new low-power Broadwell M processors. It is surprisingly low and the new processors work atone only 4,5 watts. Procesory has been designed specifically for use in tablets and fanless computers and will offer a desktop x86 architecture. As you can see below, the performance is really low and this can also be seen in the frequency of individual processors. The lowest model of the whole series, Core M 5Y10c, has a frequency of only 800 MHz, and with TurboBoost, this performance can increase to 2 GHz. On board is an Intel HD 5300 graphics chip clocked at 300 MHz with the option of TurboBoost at 800 MHz.

The most powerful processor in the entire series is the Core M 5Y71, which has a frequency of 1.2 GHz, TurboBoost to 2.9 GHz and a graphics chip with the option of TurboBoost to 900 MHz. Apple was supposed to use in the new one according to speculation MacBookus Retina the display uses processors from this series and it is quite possible that it will use the most powerful model from the entire series, i.e. Core M 5Y71 with a frequency of 1.2 GHz. All models are dual-core, similar to the classic ones MacBooku Air or Mac mini.
