As we informed you today, Apple issued the second beta new operating system version iOS 8, which is intended for developers. The new version not only brings a number of improvements and changes, but also new features that Apple albeit on WWDC introduced, but in the first beta version left them out or new features we had no idea about. Thanks to improvements in the programming side, the second beta version is faster and smoother than the first version and offers a better user experience. Among the main innovations is the Podcasts application, which is now the default, i.e. a pre-installed application that cannot be removed from iOS remove the device.
Application Safari now blocks ads that automatically redirect users to iTunes App Storewithout permission. Within the App Store Purchases is now available to sort by purchase date, which in iOS 8 beta 1 was missing and the purchases were sorted alphabetically. App store now also shows family purchases. iPad now has the QuickType keyboard, which is also available on iPhone. However, this keyboard is not available on the 2nd generation iPad.
QuickType keyboard Apple is now available on iPad, as well as iPhone, but it doesn't seem to be available on the iPad 2. The camera and microphone icons when composing messages are now grayed out, which is much clearer. There's a new section in Settings Home Data that is used to protect personal data. There is now an Allow Notifications option in the settings, which allows you to globally turn on or off all notifications for individual applications. There is also a new overview of electricity consumption in the phone settings, in which we can see how much the phone consumed when it was out of signal range. We would be happy if you write to us in the comments any other news that you discovered while watching iOS 8 Beta 2.
