Director David Fincher is currently working on finding actors for a new biopic Steve Jobs. Sony's film should capture three significant moments in the life of Steve Jobs, including the development of the Macintosh computer, the founding of the company NeXT and finally the introduction of the revolutionary player Apple iPod. The cast in this film is not yet known, but we could see Christian Bale in the main role, who, among other things, took on acting roles in the Batman trilogy or in the film The Perfect Trick.
The director thinks about Bale mainly because of his resemblance to a young Steve Jobs. The two have similar looks, so it's possible that Fincher will actually ask the actor to take on the role. However, Christian Bale has not yet received any offer, which is probably due to the fact that the actor wants to take a break from the film at the moment and wants to devote himself to his family. He still has plenty of time to possibly sign the contract, as work on the film should begin at the beginning of 2015. In the end, the question remains how the critics will react to the film. The movie Jobs starring Ashton Kutcher maintains a rating of 64% on ČSFD.
