The first news that Apple announced this year is his new service CarPlay, which practically brings the environment of the operating system iOS on screens in cars and enriches it with assisted control Siri. Apple however, he wants to maintain safety on the road and therefore has not published this API for all developers, but only offers it to some who will find use in cars. Among them is one of the popular American applications, iHeartRadio, which offers users access to more than 1500 music stations.

Of course, the media took advantage of this and tried to get as much information as possible from the developer about how the system was related CarPlay and applications for iOS. The author of iHeartRadio revealed that the new API is relatively simple and can be added to any application quite quickly. Of course Apple they won't just publish this API and will continue to offer it to select developers. They can then simply release an update to their existing applications without having to release an entirely new version of the application intended for use with CarPlay. iHeartRadio is one of the four music apps that you Apple selected for the beginning. The developer claims that this is a small piece of code that will set the in-car screen to act simply as a remote control for an existing app.
