Microsoft that means with the voice assistant vo Windows really serious. The software giant from Redmond is planning for future versions Windows Phone a Windows add the voice assistant Cortana, which will fully replace the current Bing Search search. The management can especially please the fans of the Halo series, since the artificial intelligence Cortana comes from this series. However, it will not be a hologram, but a voice function accompanied by graphics.
The assistant should search and process user requests through Bing, Foursquare and other services. In addition, Microsoft recently invested $15 million in Foursquare, so it's expected to actually use its services. Cortana itself should appear first on phones with the system Windows Phone 8.1, later it will probably head to the system as well Windows 8.2 “Threshold”. The name of the update is apt, as Threshold is one of the planets in the Halo series. As for the functionality itself, according to the leaks, it looks like it is Microsoft took not only the name, but also the graphics from the game. According to the leaks, Cortana should either look like a blue circle with or a white balloon with a mouth. It is even speculated that Cortana will have eyes and its expression will change according to the understanding of the user's request or mood.
