Just like every year, this year too Global Mobile Awards presented awards for the best tablets and mobile devices on the market. The winners were announced at the MWC 2014 fair in Barcelone, while the prize for the best tablet was won by the company Apple with my iPad Air. The decision is quite interesting since Apple did not participate in this fair at all.
The jury agreed that despite the number of competing tablets on the market, it is just right iPad Air weighing only 469 grams, which is the best. He claims that iPad Air it is 20% thinner and 28% lighter than its predecessor and has a narrowed frame around the display by up to 43%. The jury went on to praise Retina display, chip Apple A7 and a battery that can last 10 hours on a single charge, even though it is 24% smaller than its predecessor. Another big plus is the wide range of applications that are fully optimized for the iPad. This statement is undoubtedly true, since the iPad, unlike Android tablets, offers hundreds of thousands of applications that actually use its display and are not just enlarged versions of mobile applications.

iPhone however, it did not take home any awards from the Global Mobile Awards 2014. HTC is considered the best phone of the year One, who should see his successor already this year. The phone from HTC is undoubtedly one of the best on the market, with the jury declaring that HTC One remained one of the most advanced smartphones in 2013. Its big plus is its great differentiation from the competition, which was helped by its unique design and unique user interface, thanks to which it stands out from the crowd.
Competing phones also did well in other categories. The prize for the best low-cost smartphone was won by Nokia with its Lumia 520, where the low price does not have a big impact on the quality. Nokia also led in the field of the best entry-level phone. The winner in this category is the push-button Nokia 105, which is extremely cheap and offers remarkable durability and battery life. It is therefore suitable for novice mobile phone owners. And who won the prize for the most innovative smartphone manufacturer? LG.

I'm not surprised, I'm completely satisfied with him. Fast, reliable and most importantly beautifully light! Perfect for reading in bed at night.
He only won in our stupid Dtest Samsung Galaxy Note above iPad Air...I have to say that their assessment was spot on... Applu blamed the absence of memory cards, supposedly worse email handling, worse display than Samsung... I recommend the editors to read this test for fun... btw, they didn't mind at all that their pet out of 16GB only had about 8,7GB free
Well, I would appreciate memory cards. I have the 64GB version and 5GB free
With those memory cards... I think it would be worth doing some research in relation to age :D :D
When I was younger (around 25) I had a desire to accumulate. Back then, it was manifested by burning DVDs (I had about 800 of them including color booklets – each one cost about 50 CZK) followed by tons and tons of MP3s. With the upcoming progress came data storage and series and movies were already counted in terabytes…. Today, as I approach 40, I am already downloading max do macbookI stream to my TV, try it and delete it. I have my entire music library on iTunes Match. cloudoh, so not a trace on the disk :D (and yeah, I'm in a mess without internet...)
In fact, I still have about 16GB free in the Ipad 16gb and iPhone 4gb
So I wouldn't know what to use the card for :D
Oh yeah, a memory card. This is a constant theme of teenagers who cannot survive without it and a regular minus for phones like HTC or Apple. The main thing is that the divine Samšunt has that possibility.
Cards are slow and on the sack.
5 GB is enough for me on the iPhone 16, I still have about 5 GB free. I have music, photos and recorded video there. Not a collection of 4K videos. On iPad 128GB. If there was more, I'd take more, but there's no need. It's just a matter of laziness to connect it less often with MAC to change the series/movie.
Noo it doesn't have to be exclusively about teenagers... I have a friend, he's 50, his friends are 3... 8 of them have iPhones 5 64gb and still not enough memory... they must have hundreds of albums on there, what if they wanted to listen to them right nowchatWe call them Gigalomaniacs :D :D :D
well, I chose ipad mini, so I won't comment on the choice of Miss Tablet MWC 2014 :-) …but about the memory card: in (I think) 2004 I bought an "SD card wallet" (1GB? x 6) used it a few times and installed it…since then 1 x SD max. capacity and except for the loss of a bunch of photos (the SD card died and I didn't back up my SGSII) without any problems... My conclusion: the card is pretty good, but I'm glad I bought it Apple doesn't use it (= no one in my family will lose their data) and I keep my fingers crossed for the others (and I don't envy them) (iPhone 5/64 – 5GB free, ipad mini 128GB – 30GB free)
I'm actually quite surprised that Air is rated as "the best". Pro I'm quite disappointed. I was looking forward to reading books and watching videos on it and it doesn't even do that well. For some unknown reason, my books in PDF format were deleted and I can't get them back through iTunes. My advice is to put them on Dropbox and then open them again.Books I find it funny. I really want to put all my books in there again like this. Interesting that when I upload them there, it remembers all the bookmarks and which collection the book was in.
I thought that a device with such performance would beonem will play fullhd video. But I was quite wrong, the message "Your iPad is probably too slow to play" amused me a lot. Then, when I was still searching in app a hundred calculators, because for some reason I don't know there are none. That was probably the last straw and air He was lucky he didn't hit the wall.
Sky: Me both in IP5 and in AirI can play 18GB Blueray rips without any problems and the players that are in appI don't use a converter (none has suited me yet, I often just play it from IP5 on the TV and none have been able to do it so that I can lock the fan, so I only use the one in the system), I prefer to let everything be converted, with a Blueray rip it sometimes only converts the audio track anyway, so it's done right away :)
otherwise, it is not a problem to change even individual files in folders that cannot normally be accessed via the cable in the device.
Sky:
So all this with the iPad an iPhoneI do. Plus, it's great when I can automatically continue reading a book on my iPhone where I left off on my iPad and vice versa ;-)
I actually use iTunes to backup and upload MP3s to iTunes Match. Then I download the music to my iPhone or iPad via Wi-Fi.
And sometimes I also do this via a remote desktop on a laptop that is at home or at work and I am somewhere else :-)
ProI use my iPad a lot at work too.
Sky:
I'm sure the problem is not the iPad, but it will be the hands and the head ;-)
When you are Air throw it at the wall, at least film it and put it on YouTube. Maybe it will help you buy a tablet from a competitor :-D
Sky: it wasn't an iPad Air from China? Whatever I would blame the iPad for, this is more of a fault with you somewhere between the chair and the keyboard :D
Sky: the problem is between the chair and the touch layer. Even iPad3 can play such a video just fine
You also entertained us.
Yeah, probably me apple wanted to annoy and sent me an imitation from China :D
I'll take the video from GoPro 3 Black. If it has a higher resolution than HD, which GoPro I have it, so I won't even delete it because the limit is 1080. Anyway, I have to convert here. So when I know I need fast playback on the iPad, I put 1080/60fps on the go and the video plays choppy unless I see the funny message I wrote.
On video from DVD or BR, I didn't try it, so it's my fault that I generalized the problem to "FullHD" video :)
So now that I have to accept the fact that I am incompetent and have trouble playing recorded video from the camera on the best device in the world.. well I have to learn to live with it... :D
Prono in ios 7 on the iPad isn't that stupid calculator? Yes app store It will be resolved quickly and I can choose from a huge number, but why such a cap that they take away from the iPad on the iPhone?
Sky: because apple is not able to release a product that will support normal files such as avi, xvid and the like………… therefore there is a need for conversion and the like…………
they are probably the only ones in our galaxy who haven't realized that today other video formats are used, the fault is not in you but in Apple
for others: even a hole in the tire would be good for you if there was an apple logo on the car
PF: I can't deal with those books anymore. They are company books in pdf format purchased from Amazonu. There are several dozen of them, it was nice to have them on hand. At first I put them on there via iTunes. They loaded there just fine and in ibooks I saw them. Then one day they just disappeared. The iPad wasn't connected to any computer, so it could sync with iTunes.
When I connect the iPad to iTunes now, the books just won't get there. I've tried all the methods I found online, sometimes it shows that it's copying, but the books just aren't there. The only thing that works is copying them to Dropbox, then opening them in iBooks and I can see them there now. They are in the collection where they were before, the bookmarks are all there too. It's a way to get the books there, but I don't really like the idea of doing it book by book :(
I might try DiskAid or something similar. Just keep buying some application so that "basic" things work. :(
