About a month ago Facebook decided in cooperation with HTC to present its first smartphone, which was supposed to offer its users, in particular, full-fledged interface integration Facebook Home in a phone that could potentially become a competitor to the pre iPhone, respectively by the choice of users who are interested in regular use Facebooku on their mobile devices. However, it is now clear that due to low sales, the device called HTC First will gradually disappear from the market, or it will become a rarity.
The foreign portal BGR brought a very interesting report today, according to which the so-called Facebook Phone, is waiting for his retirement, or oblivion. Verified sources have confirmed that sales of the device so far have been "shockingly bad". This can be evidenced by the fact that the operator AT&T already decided to reduce the price to $0.99 a month after the release of the phone, thanks to which only 15 units of the First smartphone were sold in the past week. The operator plans to remove the phone from its offer soon and send the remaining phones to HTC. According to the company, the bestsellers are phones at the moment iPhone a Samsung Galaxy S4, which we will also review in the near future.
Proaccording to the administration, the environment itself is also a problem Facebook Home. The company's sales reps don't like the add-on, and they seem to be trying to do it minimum to try to get the phone out. The second problem is the number of software errors, which are complained about not only by users abroad, but also in Slovakia and the Czech Republic. Ratings even managed to "sink" Home so deep that it has earned just 2,2 out of 5 stars in overall ratings, as well as nearly 9 user reviews with a resulting rating of 000 out of 1 stars.
