The update mainly fixes bugs in the new iTunes Match paid service. It allows for a fee of USD 24,99 per year to send up to 25,000 music tracks to iCloudu, while music purchased via iTunes is not included in this number. If there is a better version of your song in your iTunes music library, it will replace it. However, this service is not yet available here. The new version of iTunes is 10.5.2. Hard to say if support was added iOS 5.1, as it will primarily be updated directly via iZariadenia.

iTunes 10.5.2 includes several improvements and fixes for iTunes Match and fixes audio distortion when playing or importing some CDs.

iTunes 10.5.1 also includes:

  • iTunesMatch. Store your entire music library in iCloude, including your music imported from CD, and enjoy your collection anywhere, anytime, on iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, computer, or Apple TV.
  • iTunes in cloude. iTunes now stores music and TV purchases in iCloudea makes them available on your iDevice anywhere, anytime, at no additional cost.
  • Automatic download. Buying music from any device or computer automatically downloads a copy to your Mac and iOS devices.
  • Download previous purchases. Download music you've already listened to in the past, TV, apps and books you can buy again at no additional cost. Previous purchases may be unavailable if they are no longer in iTunes Store.
  • Synchronization with iPhone, iPad or iPod touch with iOS 5.
  • Wi-Fi synchronization. Automatic synchronization iPhone, iPad or iPod touch with iTunes whenever both devices are on the same Wi-Fi network.
