Caravan SandWitch is a casual adventure game that takes players to the planet Cigalo, which has a not-so-rosy past. You play as Sauge, who returns to her home planet after picking up a mysterious distress signal from her sister, who has been missing for six years. The main focus of the game is exploring the open world, searching for clues, and gradually uncovering what really happened on Cigalo. You spend a large part of your time driving a camper van through a desert landscape inspired by the Frenchancouzska Prowins. Caravan SandWitch is also interesting because it does away with classic combat, death, or time pressure, so you can focus primarily on exploring the world and the story. You gradually acquire new tools that allow you to reach previously inaccessible places and reveal other parts of the map.
