The manufacturer designed it so that it can be attached under the bottle holder, or directly to the bike frame, and it must be said that this is where it probably makes the most sense. If your bike has classic basket threads, you simply screw the locator between the frame and the bottle holder, which hides it very well from view, which is absolutely essential for a similar product. Ideally, a thief should not even suspect that the bike is equipped with a locator.
In terms of durability, you will be pleased with the IP66 protection, so rain, dust, mud or regular off-road riding should not be a problem for Bikee. The body is made of a combination of ABS and PC plastic, which is a completely reasonable choice for similar accessories. It is nothing luxurious that would knock you over with a premium impression, but that is not the goal here. The goal is inconspicuousness, low weight, durability and functionality. And that is exactly what FIXED meets.
Inside is a 160 mAh battery, which, according to the manufacturer, should last up to 3 months on a single charge. Charging is via USB-C port hidden under a silicone cover, which is personally a more pleasant solution than replaceable button batteries. The battery status is monitored by an LED indicator. About communication with the phoneonem is handled by Bluetooth 5.4, with an audible alarm with a volume of 60 to 90 dB and, most importantly, official certification. Apple Find My.
Testing
The biggest advantage of FIXED Tag Bike is that once paired, you practically don't have to deal with it. You add it to the Find My app, just like other compatible locators, and from that moment on you can see it right among your devices. No additional apps, no extra accounts, no unnecessary settings, just simple to use. So for me, it's the kind of simplicity I like in accessories for Apple ecosystem like.
The tracking itself, of course, works over the network Apple Find My, so you need to take into account that it is not a GPS locator in the true sense of the word. Bikee does not have its own SIM card or GPS module, but its location is updated depending on whether there are iPhones, iPads or other devices nearby. Apple devices that will anonymously help transmit your location to the Find network. But what I enjoy even more is the versatility of the whole solution. Yes, the manufacturer primarily presents it as a bike locator and it is really ideal for a drink holder. But thanks to the screw holes, it can be attached to anything you want to monitor. I can imagine it on a motorcycle, scooter, electric scooter, garden equipment or even on a cart behind a car. And in my opinion, the cart is a great example. At least in my area, a lot of people park it somewhere in the parking lot, by the house or in the yard just miniIt is not impossible to have it stolen. Screwing an inconspicuous locator onto it can be a very simple way to have at least some security.ancand to find it in case of a problem.
The sound signal is especially useful when you know that the locator is somewhere nearby, but you need to find it more precisely. The volume of 60 to 90 dB is not bad, but of course you need to take into account that if the Bikee is hidden somewhere under a metal structure or in a noisy environment, miracles cannot be expected. However, it will serve well for finding it in a garage, basement, bike shed or among several parked bikes, or at least I have always heard it without any problems.

FIXED Tag Bikee is an accessory that doesn't seem groundbreaking at first glance, but the longer you think about it, the more sense it makes. It's not a GPS tracker for thousands of crowns with a monthly fee, but a simple, discreet and practical locator for anyone who wants to have at least a little more control over their bike or other property.
What I like most about it is the combination of unobtrusive design, support Apple Find, solid IP66 resistance and the ability to charge via USB-C. The battery life of up to 3 months is also perfectly usable for me, because this is not a device that you would have to charge every week. And if you check it once in a while, it probably won't bother you at all.
So if you're looking for something to secure your bike, scooter, cart, or anything else you don't want to lose sight of, the FIXED Tag Bikee makes a lot of sense.
