I personally like stick vacuum cleaners mainly for one thing. You can pick them up, start cleaning in a few seconds, and you don't have to worry about pulling a cable, switching from one outlet to another, or the classic wheel with a hose that gets stuck exactly where you least need it. But for such a vacuum cleaner to make sense in the long term, nestIt just needs to be light and comfortable. It needs to have performance, decent endurance, a reasonable dirt container and ideally a few practical gadgets that you will only appreciate during regular use. And this is exactly what the Proscenic P15 strives for.

Proscenic P15 1

At first glance, this is a classic modern stick vacuum cleaner that does not try to experiment unnecessarily with shapes, but rather to offer the most practical unit possible. And I have to say that on paper it does it very well. The Proscenic P15 relies on a 580 W brushless motor, suction power of up to 55 kPa, endurance of up to 70 minutes, three suction modes, green floor lighting, a telescopic tube, a removable battery and a six-level filtration system. The body itself weighs 1,535 kg, the entire vacuum cleaner 2,45 kg, so it is not a heavy monster that would become difficult to handle after a few minutes.

Technical specifications, processing and design

In my opinion, it is extremely important for a stick vacuum cleaner not to feel like something you only pull out when things are really bad at home. It is ideal if you reach for it automatically even for a few crumbs in the kitchen, hair in the bathroom or dust in the hallway. And this is exactly the direction the Proscenic P15 is heading. Thanks to its low weight, telescopic tube and simple controls, it feels like a vacuum cleaner that will not be afraid of everyday use.

A big plus is the stand-alone feature. On paper, this may not sound like something you would buy a vacuum cleaner for, but in practice it is a very nice thing. When you need to move a chair, lift a rug, open a door, or just run away for a moment while cleaning, you don't have to lean the vacuum cleaner against the wall and hope it doesn't fall to the floor. You just set it down and move on. It's details like these that often determine whether you enjoy using the product or whether it starts to annoy you after a few days.

The one-button operation is also pleasant. With some competing models, you have to hold the trigger the entire time, which may seem like a small thing, but it doesn't add much comfort when vacuuming for a long time. The Proscenic P15 doesn't have to be held after switching on, so your hand doesn't suffer as much and cleaning feels more natural. This is exactly the type of solution that makes you think it should have been this way from the beginning.

Testing

The most important thing is, of course, the suction power. The Proscenic P15 offers up to 55 kPa, which is a very solid value for a cordless stick vacuum cleaner. During normal cleaning, it should not have a problem with dust, hair, crumbs, flour or cereal flakes. In my opinion, it is on such dirt that it is best shown whether the vacuum cleaner really pulls, or just shines nicely and looks good in product photos. Flour will test fine dust, hair, and the brush and flakes will show whether the nozzle can handle larger messes without just pushing them in front of it.

Personally, I really like the green floor light on the P15. It's one of those features that might sound a bit fancy, but once you start using it, you suddenly realize that you're cleaning a bit blind without it. On a hard floor, it beautifully highlights fine dust, hair and small dirt that you would otherwise easily miss. It makes a lot of sense, especially in the hallway, under the table, by the kitchen counter or in darker corners. It also makes you feel better when vacuuming because you can actually see what's disappearing.

Also worth mentioning is the fifth-generation anti-tangle brush, which combines soft and hard bristles with rubber elements. Its aim is to reduce hair and fur tangling, which will be especially appreciated by households with long-haired family members or pets. If you have ever had to cut hair from the brush with scissors after vacuuming, you probably know how annoying this activity can be.

The battery life of up to 70 minutes is another strong argument. Of course, you need to take into account that maxThe minimum value applies to a more economical mode, while at maximum power the battery will run down faster. But this is completely normal for stick vacuum cleaners. The important thing is that the P15 offers enough reserve for regular cleaning of an apartment or a smaller house, without having to constantly think about charging. The removable battery is also practical for the future, because it can be replaced if necessary.

The LED display looks modern and helps you keep track of the selected mode and the status of the vacuum cleaner. It's only fair to add that it doesn't have a countdown function. It's nothing that would make the vacuum cleaner useless, but if you're used to keeping track of exactly how many minutes of cleaning you have left, you'll have to settle for a more basic indication here.

The dust container is also practical. The manufacturer mentions 1,2 liters in the specifications, while the product materials state a volume of 1000 ml. Regardless of whether we stick to one value or the other, it is still a decent capacity, thanks to which it is not necessary to empty the container after every short sweep of the floor. This is important for cordless vacuum cleaners, because a small container can otherwise spoil the overall comfort of use quite quickly.

Summary

The Proscenic P15 strikes me as a very reasonably designed stick vacuum cleaner for the average household. It doesn't try to impress with one crazy feature that you'll use twice and then forget about, but it builds on things that make sense every day. Strong suction, long battery life, green light, independent standing, one-button control, low weight and a solid dust container. These are exactly the features that, in my opinion, decide whether a vacuum cleaner becomes a practical helper or another thing that ends up in a closet somewhere.

I would recommend it most to those who want a convenient cordless vacuum cleaner for everyday cleaning of hard floors, carpets, hair, crumbs and general household mess, but do not want to pay the prices of the most expensive models of well-known brands. The Proscenic P15 Cordless Vacuum Cleaner is available hereIts price is €159,99, with a special code applecarr50 you will get a discount of €50. This translates to approximately CZK 2660, which is a very nice offer considering the equipment, performance and overall focus of the vacuum cleaner.
