How to set an advance reminder on iPhone
It takes just a few seconds to set up and is done directly in the Reminders app. Open a specific task, swipe left, and select Details. In the item details, you'll find the Pre-Reminder section.
There are preset intervals to choose from, such as an hour, a day, or a week before the deadline. If these don't suit you, just select Custom and set the exact time. In practice, it works best to adjust the advance according to the type of task - a different time makes sense for a morning meeting and a different one for a long-term task.
If you use comments only as "alarm for a specific time", consider extending them with a preliminary notification. For tasks that have some continuity or require preparation, this is a more practical setting than a one-time notification at the moment of starting.
