I don't know about you, but I personally toy with the idea of acquiring one from time to time. Vision Pro, although I know that it would actually be quite useless to me. However, when I tried it out some time ago with my colleague Roman, I was really impressed and even based on my short experience I have to agree with those who speak of it as a technological gem. It is even more surprising how much the prices of used units decrease over time. While the starting price of the headset in the USA is 3499 dollars, in EU countries, led by Germany, it is 3699 Euro (although of course now in a newer version with the M5 chip), on portals like eBay, used pieces in top condition can be found from verified sellers for prices around $2000, even with a warranty.

Frankly speaking, on the one hand there is the possibility of getting Vision Pro in used but still perfect condition for a price of around 50,000 CZK, very interesting in terms of use and I believe that many will be pleased. On the other hand, it is an ugly example of the fact that Applu and by extension 3rd party developers in the field visionThe OS software is still failing (or they don't want to), which is why the headset is now completely uninteresting to many of its former owners and they are trying to get rid of it at a price well below the price. The fact that this product is still struggling and its loss of value is truly meteoric is evidenced by the fact that it only went on sale at the end of January 2024 and therefore only recently celebrated two years on store shelves. Even so, it is now being sold for $1500, or about CZK 31,000 cheaper (i.e. with a loss of about 43% of the price). Just to give you an idea, for example, such iPhone The 15 Pro, which went on sale in the fall of 2023 and has already had two better generations, is now available in used TOP condition with warranty for 15,990 CZK – i.e. with the same loss. In the case of a phone, however, it can be better defended through two newer and technically significantly more interesting generations above it, which in Vision Pro It certainly doesn't. The M5 model is faster, but not fundamentally better.
