Five minutes in heaven
A strong, age-resistant bond of resentment between AlistairLittle and Joe Griffin was created in 1975, at a time when Northern Ireland was being ravaged by ethnic and religious violence driven by the Irish desire for independence from Great Britain. At the time, both men, actually young men, were not yet twenty years old. And yet they had to go through experiences that many adults will never know in their entire lives. A seventeen-year-old Protestant and member of the illegal Ulster Volunteers killed Joe's brother, who was raised Catholic, and who was then eleven years old. And even though he served twelve years in prison for his act, his guilt was still not erased. After more than three decades, the two men are to meet in front of television cameras and together find a way to come to terms with the past. But nowhere is it written that such a way exists.
Five Minutes in Heaven is a surprisingly good, intimate psychological thriller with a nostalgic patina. It's not boring, it's not unnecessarily drawn out... and it manages to make you think.

I watched 28 Years Later last summer. I like horror movies, I don't mind zombies (although I prefer a different horror subgenre), the Boyle + Garland duo is a guarantee of quality. 28 Years Later doesn't suffer from any of the ailments typical of sequels, and is rightly disturbing in many ways.

Does the title of the film sound familiar? That's because it's a remake of the eponymous film.ancof a 70s film by Ouz. It should be noted that it is a surprisingly successful remake, and it successfully resonates with viewers even today.
