Google has expanded the capabilities of the desktop version of Google Browser Chrome o three new features that are mainly aimed at work and everyday file organization. There are now split-tab views, PDF editing directly in the browser, and easier file saving to Google Drive. However, these are not groundbreaking innovations that would change the internet. But these are exactly the little things that can save a few clicks a day, and that counts in the long run.

Two tabs side by side without dragging windows
The most visible new feature is split view. Chrome now allows you to display two open tabs side by side directly within a single window, eliminating the need to manually resize windows or use system-wide screen splitting.
An icon has been added to the top bar to activate the mode. After clicking, the user selects two tabs that they want to have displayed simultaneously. Each takes up half of the window and you can work between them normally.
For everyday work, this means, for example, the ability to have a source article open on the left and a document on the right, in which text is written. Another change concerns the built-in PDF viewer. It now allows you to highlight text, insert signatures and add notes. This is a significant shift compared to the previous state, when you could only view or download a PDF. If someone needed to sign a document or add a note to it, they had to open it in a separate program. Now, for example, you can open a contract, highlight important passages, add a note to an unclear point and save the document - without having to install another application. The third new feature concerns file saving. PDF documents can now be saved from Chrome save directly to Google Drive without having to download them to your computer and then upload them again cloudu.
