Apple v iOS 26.3 beta 1 didn't come with any big features that would have been talked about for weeks, but one small detail is definitely worth noting. It concerns wallpapers, and specifically a section that has been somewhat inconspicuously hidden under the common name Weather and Astronomy.

New Apple divided this part of the gallery into two separate sections, namely Weather and Astronomy. At first glance, it's a small thing, but upon closer inspection, you can see that it's Apple put in a little more work than before. While in iOS On 26.2, the only live weather wallpaper was available, iOS 26.3 beta 1 adds exactly three different varianty. All wallpapers here work on the same principle, i.e. they display the current weather for your location in real time. The difference, however, is in the style. Each wallpaper uses a different font, a different layout and a differently prepared widgety, so you can choose the look that suits you without having to manually adjust everything. For some, this may be a small thing, but for others it is a nice addition to the lock screen, which is one of the most visible elements of the iPhone today.
Given that this is the first beta and the last update before the holidays, it's quite likely that wallpapers aren't the only area where Apple within iOS 26.3 still reaches. However, we will have to wait for further changes. minialmost to the next beta, which will probably arrive sometime in the first week of January.
It's still completely bland and disgusting...HTC had it better years ago.
