LG Electronics (LG) has introduced the LG MAGNIT Active Micro LED, its latest home theater innovation that utilizes Active Matrix technology for ultra precise control of each individual pixel. This next-generation model delivers exceptional clarity, contrast and depth of image, delivering a new experience. With a 136-inch screen (approximately 3 meters wide and 1,7 meters high), 4K resolution (3,840 x 2,160) and an extraordinary contrast ratio of 1,000,000:1, it delivers unparalleled immersion and visual realism. By integrating Active Matrix technology, the new model's self-illuminating Micro LED display allows each pixel to generate its own light. Unlike conventional Passive Matrix systems that control pixels by row and column, LG's Active Matrix approach provides individual pixel-level control for remarkably fine detail and picture quality in ultra high resolution.
LG's proprietary coating technology deepens black levels and miniminimizes the influence of ambient lighting for excellent color accuracy. Precisely matched modular design miniminimizes gaps between panels to create a seamless display surface, while the flicker-free screen provides a comfortable viewing experience without eye strain, even during long viewing sessions.
Built-in speakers on each side provide 4.2-channel surround sound with overall performanceonem 100 watts. The display also supports Enhanced Audio Return Channel (eARC) for lossless playback of high-quality audio, allowing users to enjoy rich, cinematic sound in the comfort of their own home.
Powered by LG’s latest 6th generation α9 AI processor, the display intelligently analyzes the creator’s intent and optimizes each scene. It reduces noise, enhances sharpness, and recognizes faces, objects, text, and backgrounds to deliver a more natural, detailed, and realistic image. Plus, its high 144Hz refresh rate ensures smooth, blur-free motion, making it ideal for fast-paced games and dynamic sports content.
Powered by LG’s proprietary webOS smart TV platform, the display allows users to easily enjoy LG Channels, LG’s free, ad-supported streaming TV (FAST) service, as well as other OTT and gaming content. Additionally, with an LG Gallery+ subscription, users can enhance the aesthetics of their living spaces with a range of visual content, transforming their homes into personalized exhibitions featuring famous paintings or gaming illustrations. The display also supports AirPlay 2 and Miracast, allowing convenient screen sharing with devices running operating systems iOS and Android.
LG MAGNIT Active Micro LED is equipped with technology Dolby Vision, which delivers stunning images with a dazzling range of colors, sharper contrast, and richer details. It has also received Color Consistency Wide Viewing certification from TÜV Rheinland, underscoring its ability to deliver consistent colors and wide viewing angles, even at ultralarge screens.
LG designed MAGNIT Active Micro LED with the installation environment and user comfort in mind. The product has been certified for electromagnetic compatibility under the FCC’s Residential Environment Regulations and has achieved Class 2 certification in the British Standards Institution’s flammability test, confirming its suitability for use in homes and indoor spaces.
