iFixit, a website known for its detailed electronics teardowns, has published a new teardown video of the iPad Pro with the M5 chip. Although Apple significantly expanded its self-service repair program this year and made manuals and original spare parts for iPads available, the device remains one of the brand's most difficult products to repair.

According to iFixit, the new iPad Pro still extremely difficult to repair, especially due to the complex construction, glued componentsonents and difficult battery replacement. Nevertheless, the model was rated 5 out of 10, which is an improvement over previous versions – mainly due to the availability of official spare parts within the self-service program.

Same specifications, no changes to the internals

The teardown also confirmed that the new M5 chip is essentially the only significant innovation in this year's model. Inside the device, there are no major changes in the design or layout of the components.onent compared to the previous generation.

Apple introduced a new iPad Pro last week, and self-service parts for this particular model are expected to be available in the coming months. iFixit has previously torn down the new 14-inch MacBook Pro with the M5 chip, which also received mixed reviews in terms of repairability.
