You remember the last year's M4 leak MacBookfor, when a complete unboxing video appeared on the Internet even before the announcement? It seems that history is repeating itself. Russian YouTube channel Wylsacom, which was behind the leak back then, this time boasted of the unannounced M5 iPad Pro and even the first performance tests of the brand new chip.

Don't expect any big surprises in terms of design. The new model looks practically identical to the M4. iPad Pro, which in other words means ultraa thin body with a single camera on the back. But the question remains whether Apple It will indeed feature the dual front cameras that were previously speculated. This is not yet confirmed by the video, as it does not show a close-up of the front of the device.

But the benchmarks themselves are much more interesting. According to the published results, the M5 chip again has a 9-core CPU, but it takes performance a step further. Specifically, it improved by approximately 10% in single-core and 15% in multi-core CPU tests. The tested piece had 256GB of storage and 12 GB of RAM, which is an interesting change compared to the previous generation. The M4 iPad Pros had variaThe 256 and 512 GB models only had 8 GB of RAM, while the higher configurations (1TB and 2TB) offered 16 GB. So it looks like Apple This year, it will add memory to more affordable models, bringing them into line with the iPhone 17 Pro.

As for other rather interesting details, the iPad runs on iPadOS 26.0 instead of the patch version 26.0.1 that was released yesterday, the inscription " is missing on the backiPad Pro" and the box itself seems a bit thinner than before. Unfortunately, the video doesn't reveal much more.

If you are interested in the performance date, according to current information it should be Apple M5 iPad Pro officially introduced maybe sometime this month, while some leaks have spoken of the beginning of next year. Either way, you can watch the entire unboxing video on YouTube before the presentation itself, although it is in Russian. By the way, this is the second year in a row that Wylsacom managed to get to the unannounced Apple product before anyone else. What's even more special is that Apple does not officially sell its products in Russia at all...
