The new LG QNED evo TVs are changing with major innovations and utilize some technologies previously reserved for LG OLED TVs

Press Release: LG Electronics (LG) is bringing new TVs with QNED technology to the Czech market. The new additions to the improved QNED evo model line boast unprecedented technological advancements. The main new technologies include, on selected models, proprietary wide color gamut technology, a truly wireless connection that transmits images with a frequency of 4K 144 Hz¹ without loss of quality or delay, image and sound processing using artificial intelligence and maxmaximum possible individualization of the user experience based on artificial intelligence through the webOS 25 system.

LG continues to strengthen its competitiveness in the global premium TV market through a dual strategy, emphasizing the high-end LG OLED evo TV series and the QNED evo series, a premium LCD TV series that includes key innovations previously only available in OLED TVs, such as advanced AI features and wireless convenience.

Dynamic QNED Color Solution

The new LG QNED evo TVs boast an improved color gamut compared to previous models thanks to the use of LG’s new patented wide color gamut technology, Dynamic QNED Color Solution, which replaces quantum dots. This unique technology allows the backlight to transmit light in accurate colors that are as realistic as they appear to the eye in real life. By using Dynamic QNED Color Solution, the entire new QNED evo series is 100% certified by the global testing and certification organization Intertek for color volume, which measures the screen’s ability to display the rich colors of the original image without distortion in any environment.

True Wireless 4K

This year, LG will also introduce the QNED evo (QNED9M) with True Wireless 4K. This innovation, which was exclusive to the top-of-the-line OLED evo model (M-series) last year, will now be available on the QNED evo series. This expansion allows viewers to enjoy high-definition 4K content wirelessly without any degradation in picture or sound quality or delay, overcoming the limitations of traditional wired connections.² The QNED9M wireless solution uses a separate Zero Connect Box to transmit high-definition video and audio up to 4K and a refresh rate of up to 144 Hz. This ensures lossless video and audio quality. In addition, the QNED9M has been certified by AMD FreeSync Premium, providing a tear-free, flicker-free and smooth gaming experience. With True Wireless Technology Wireless 4K offers the QNED9M unique flexibility, allowing users to place the TV almost anywhere in the room and arrange their game console and set-top box however they like.

Artificial intelligence for a perfect experience

LG also continues to improve the picture and sound quality of its QNED evo series by offering more powerful editions of its proprietary Alpha AI processors. The new LG QNED evo models boast improved light control that increases contrast and image accuracy, ensuring deeper blacks, higher brightness and balanced picture quality. The Alpha processor delivers picture and sound at a level worthy of ultra large TVs. These AI capabilities include more advanced upscaling, analysis of filmmaker intent to correct image noise, and more natural rendering of faces, objects, text, and backgrounds. Dynamic Tone Mapping Pro breaks down each scene into individual blocks and fine-tunes brightness and contrast to create a more vivid and realistic picture. These enhancements are complemented by AI Sound Pro, which immerses viewers in 9.1.2-channel virtual surround sound  and enriches depth and spatial clarity through the TV's built-in speakers.

New AI remote control Magic The remote, which will be bundled with the new QNED evo TV models, features a new AI button to easily analyze viewing preferences and recommend what to watch and which apps to use. Personalization is further enhanced by Voice ID, a generative AI gallery³ and customized TV picture and sound quality modes. A short press of the AI ​​button will guide users to relevant keywords and TV features, while a long press will enable personalized search based on the Large Language Model (LLM)⁴). For example, if a user is planning a trip to Francie, he can ask his remote control, “Recommend movies to watch on my way to Paris.” LG’s AI will understand the context and suggest movies set in France.ancthe Ouzian metropolis, including recommendations of specific genres based on the user's viewing preferences.

WebOS with five years of update support

LG's proprietary smart TV platform, webOS 25, elevates the user experience by offering personalization in the options and content offered through the best AI features included in the webOS Re:New program, which includes webOS system upgrades for five years.

LG Gaming Portal

The LG Gaming Portal, now available on select LG TV models, serves as a central guide to gaming options, making it easy to discover new games and enjoy your favorite titles. Thanks to collaborations with leading cloudwith gaming services like NVIDIA GeForce NOW, Amazon Luna, Boosteroid, Blacknut and especially Xbox Cloud, as well as native games for webOS apps, LG offers a diverse selection of games across a variety of genres.

Free access to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate games

LG will be offering an exclusive promotion to mark the launch of the service. When purchasing any of the new products for 2025, the customer will receive a subscription to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate for 12 months in the case of purchasing LG OLED and 6 months in the case of LG QNED models.
