Commercial message: If you're looking for a camera that will take your footage to the next level, look no further. Insta360 has just introduced the X5 as the successor to the popular X4, and it's definitely something to look forward to. The new model brings 8K 360° video, larger 1/1,28″ sensors, and a host of smart features that will allow you to capture the world around you in unprecedented quality.
The improved sensor means better results even in low light, and if you like to shoot in the evening or at night, you will be pleased with the combination of the Triple AI chip and PureVideo mode, which ensure a clean, sharp and true-to-color image in all conditions. InstaFrame mode, on the other hand, allows you to easily create classic flat videos with a fixed perspective, or dynamic videos with object tracking - while recording a complete 360° shot for later editing.
Durable optical glass lenses, waterproofing to 15 meters without the need for a case, and an improved microphone with wind protection make the X5 the ideal companion for travel and more demanding conditions. Up to 90 minutes of 8K shooting and a quick charge to 100% in just 35 minutes ensure that the camera is always there when you need it most.
Insta360 X5 also retains the iconic invisible selfie stick effect, allowing you to capture breathtaking shots without anything distracting from the image. Whether you're an adventurer, traveler, or creative, the X5 ensures your footage will look professional.
You're right! I checked out some reviews last night and ordered the essentials bundle last night.
And I've never had an action camera since the historic GoPro (the first or second generation, which had a tragically poor picture).
Hey, it's a blast to do it, I have an older version, but take a look: https://www.letemsvetemapplem.eu/2023/07/22/recenze-insta360-x3/
I have to say that I'm really looking forward to it arriving, then I'll take it out for a hike in the Tatras and on via ferratas. Those AI gadgets for automatic editing will also be somewhere else than they were years ago.
It's just a shame that the essentials don't have at least a 128 GB card, so I had to buy a quality 256 GB one (hopefully it lasts).
So bad luck :(…
