The arrival of the first flexible iPhone is slowly but surely approaching, as evidenced by both the number of various leaks of specifications and reports of negotiations. Applu with suppliers who will help him bring this phone to life. A few hours ago, thanks to sources from the Business Korea portal, it was leaked who Applu will supply displays for his puzzle. And to some extent this is a surprise.
According to sources from the aforementioned portal, he closed Apple regarding the supply of flexible displays, an agreement with Samsung as the sole supplier. This is not at all usual for him, as he usually divides supplies among several suppliers due to subsequent better possibilities in negotiating prices and so on, however, this time he made an exception. The reason is simple, according to sources – Samsung as the only manufacturer can Applu to deliver displays without a visible recess at the hinge location. LG or BOE samples, which should have Apple also available, they should have a significantly more visible groove, which Apple discourages their use.

The absence of a groove at the location of the inner hinge should be one of the advantages of the first flexible iPhone. Other advantages should include minithinness, high performance, very decent battery life and a quality camera system. In the first year it should be Apple reportedly capable of selling 9 million units of this model, and if there was interest in them, the supply chain Applu is reportedly capable of increasing production to 15 million units per year. Of course, only time will tell and how interested users will be in it. We could see that next year, when with a bit of luck the jigsaw should show itself.
