Text highlighting

V iOS 18 Highlighting text in the Notes app is very easy and intuitive. To start, open the note in which you want to highlight the text. Then, long-press the part of the text you want to highlight. A bar with various formatting options will then appear above the keyboard. Here, tap the “Aa” icon to display a color palette. Now, just tap the desired color to the left of the highlighter icon and the selected text will be colored immediately. Dynamic folders

In the Notes app on your iPhone, in addition to classic folders, you can also create dynamic folders that automatically collect notes based on specified criteria. To create such a folder, open the Notes app and on the main screen, in the folders section, tap the + icon in the lower left corner. Then, choose a location for the new folder and select the Convert to Dynamic Folder option. This step will turn the folder you created into a dynamic folder that will automatically filter and sort notes according to predefined parameters.

Locked notes

To protect your sensitive information and private thoughts in Notes, you can use advanced security features. To lock notes, just enable Touch ID or Face ID, ensuring that only authorized people can access them. This way, you can protect both newly created notes and existing ones, giving you peace of mind even if your device is lost. To enable security for a specific note, tap the three-dot icon in the upper right corner and select Lock from the menu that appears.

Cooperation

Collaboration on notes is very easy in the native app, allowing you to share and co-edit notes even with users who don't have a device. Applu. They can edit notes via a web browser.
