A young developer decided to fill this gap and came up with a solution that deserves attention.
New life for old hardware
The result of his work is called ChatGPT for Legacy iOS and it is an unofficial client built on OpenAI API. In other words – it uses the same brain as the original, but dressed in a coat that can handle even older versions iOSAnd the functions that the application can handle prove that this is not just some simple experiment.
Conversation with context, history chatu, working with images – you can enjoy all of this even on devices that Apple put it in a drawer more than a decade ago. It's hard to say what's more impressive - that the app works, or that someone even got the urge to create it.

Thanks to backward compatibility, the application can be used from iOS 6, so you can run it on iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4 or other older models without any problems.
