Speculation about a remake of the RPG classic The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion is growing. Journalist Jeff Grubb has suggested that the game could be released as a shadow drop, i.e. without prior announcement. He is said to be working on it studio Virtuoso, who has experience with hits like Metal Gear Solid, Tomb Raider or Dark Souls. The remake is to run on Unreal Engine 5 and offer redesigned game systems including stealth, stamina and combat inspired by the soulslike genre. Would you welcome a remake of Oblivion?
