Apple is preparing a number of new features this year, and one of them is supposed to be a long-awaited feature that iPhone users have been missing until now. That is, which has so far only been offered by third-party applications and not native solutions from Applu. According to the latest leaks, iOS 19 was supposed to bring the ability to record video simultaneously from the front and rear cameras directly through the native Camera app – so-called dual recording. The feature is supposed to be available exclusively on iPhonech 17 Pro.

While this new feature may seem like another step forward in mobile photography, iOS, is not revolutionary in the world of smartphones. On the contrary – Samsung introduced it in 2013 on the model Galaxy S4 under the name Dual Shot. Since then, the Korean manufacturer has further improved it and now offers, for example, the Director's View function, which allows you to switch between lenses during filming and display footage from multiple cameras simultaneously.
On Android, dual recording has become a fairly common feature over the years, even on more affordable devices. Apple This capability has been a long time coming, and although some third-party apps have offered partial support, native support in the iPhone Camera has been lacking.

The leaks indicate that Apple plans to offer this feature within iOS 19, which will be unveiled in June at a developer conference WWDCIt will likely be available with the launch of the iPhone 17 in the fall.
