It seems that for Apple Watch Series 10 planned Apple significantly larger upgrades than just a slight change in design and narrowing of their body. According to the prototype that got into the hands of leader StellaFudge, the Californian giant tested, among other things, a new type of bottom sensor, which was equipped with a larger number of LED beams for illuminating the skin. What exactly this improvement was supposed to bring, but we can only guess.
As you can see in the photos above, in addition to the central LEDs, the prototype has a larger ring of LEDs, which were definitely intended to illuminate the user's wrist more in order to obtain more data. Unfortunately, there are no test applications in the watch that would be able to use these additional sensors, so the world can only guess what these sensors were supposed to provide. However, it would not be surprising if, for example, non-invasive blood sugar monitoring was possible, which is something that is being discussed. Apple u Apple Watch has been trying for a long time, but so far without success. So it is possible that he tested "only" the possibility of another sensor on the Series 10, which, however, did not work.onec was not successful and so its deployment was called off.
