Well, how to respond to the article, something like this:
1) the choice of default applications is significantly limited, see below. app There are maps to choose from for navigation. Apple or Google…Waze is not there at all
2) the translation option is only "Translate", which does not know Czech... for example, Google Translate will not offer to select it as the default app
Therefore, I am pessimistic about Czech in AI as well.
In order for third-party apps to be set as default, their developers must prepare them for this through an update. This was the case recently with WhatsApp, which received an update that allows it to be set as the default communicator for calls. So it's not about Applu, but about the surroundings.
We Czechs should really realize that in such a small country as the Czech Republic, translation is simply nonsense. Androids have time for that, but Applu is just some Czech Republic will not refuel. 😁😁
But shit. They don't care about our money, so wanting to get support for our mother tongue is the least they should do.
