It seems to be done. Appearance iPhone 17 Pro, but also iPhones 17 and 17 Air has appeared in leaks in recent weeks in practically only one version, and since similar matches have usually meant in recent years that this is exactly what theoneor the final product, it is likely that we are already looking at what we Apple will be officially introduced in September. So if you were hoping that earlier speculations about a massive rear photo module, which will change from square to a rectangle taking up the entire upper width of the back, your hope is extinguished. And that's also because a reliable source came out with CAD drawings a few hours ago leaker Sonny Dickson, who usually only shares information on his X account that he has well-verified and whose completion he firmly believes in. You can see his CAD drawings below.

As you can see in the gallery, the rear camera module of the iPhone 17 Pro will extend to the side, but the layout of the individual lenses will not change. The only thing that will move is the LiDAR scanner along with the LED flash and microphone.onem between them. It is quite interesting that from a number of leaked CADs, including those from Dickson, it seems that the back of the phone will be made of glass only partially and that the glass filling will be inserted into some kind of apparently aluminum frame. This will ensure support for wireless charging, but at the same time quite possibly higher durability of iPhones and perhaps better cooling. Aluminum conducts heat much better than glass. The thermal conductivity of aluminum is around 200–237 W/m·K, while glass has a thermal conductivity of approximately 0,8–1 W/m·K (values may vary depending on the type of glass). This means that aluminum conducts heat up to 200 times better than regular glass.

As for the iPhones 17, they should not change in design compared to the current generation. iPhones 17 Air then they will partially adopt the design of the iPhone 17 Pro, but since they will have only one lens, their rear photo module will also be quite massive, but narrower and therefore less prominent than the Pro series. And how do you evaluate these design changes?
