SpaceX has successfully launched 20 satellites into orbit, completing the first layer of its constellation that will allow mobile phones to connect directly to the Internet. The Falcon 9 rocket lifted off from Vandenberg Air Force Base in California and the satellites were placed into low orbit. This technology, as stated by Elon Musk, will enable connection even in remote areas without the need for special equipment. The current transmission capacity is 10 Mb/s per beam, with the promise of future improvements.
So this network can quite wave with established operators. Fingers crossed
