With the power off ANC you can look forward to up to 11 hours of continuous operation and if you activate it, up to 8. Adaptive ANC will reduce this value by another 60 minutes, which is still above average. As for calls, you can talk for up to 5,2 hours with active noise cancellation. Without it, the value increases slightly, by 18 minutes. From a full charge, you will reach maximal levels in 2 hours and just 10 minutes of charging will give you 3 hours of listening time. In addition to the cable, it is also possible to charge wirelessly. Personal experience and evaluation
First the most important thing, the sound quality. In this respect I was completely satisfied, the sound is really rich and can provide the owner with a listening experience where the subtle nuances stand out.ance recordings regardless of genre. Dance music fans will enjoy the pumped-up bass, those who are more drawn to rock or metal will enjoy the intense energy resulting from the fullness of the frequency distribution, while fans of songs dominated by acoustic instruments will welcome the abundance of details. With the help of 10 equalizer bands, it is relatively easy to achieve a response that comes close to your idea of the ideal. As I mentioned at the beginning, one of the biggest advantages that appealed to me here is the creation of a personal listening profile Personi-Fi 3.0. The few minutes you spend on this are definitely worth it, and the difference is really noticeable. However, it is worth ensuring as much silence as possible so that you are not disturbed by the sounds of passing trucks and the like.
ANC, Ambient Aware and Talk Thru work reliably. With the right choice of attachments, active noise cancellation can cope with most environmental noise, which greatly enhances the listening experience. I basically did not notice the sound of a fan or passing cars, I did hear a vacuum cleaner in the immediate vicinity and a recording of a jackhammer working remotely, but only in the higher spectrum. Under normal circumstances, it therefore removes ANC very good work, including the adaptive mode, which adapts to sudden changes without any problems. In the Ambient Aware mode, you feel as if you are listening to music from speakers, I felt pleasantly connected, without external sounds appearing unnatural. Talk Thru responds as it should, but if I could have a wish, I would like it if the playback re-entry was slower. Although I am not a big fan of surround sound, especially in connection with my favorite artists, unlike movies and series, in this case I found it interesting and entertaining for many tracks.
The design side is of course a matter of taste, but from my point of view I had nothing to complain about the JBL Tour Pro 3. They look modern, but at the same time decent. The execution is fair, only the touch response of the case takes some getting used to.
I was pleasantly surprised by the stability of the connection, as it did not drop out in any corner of the home indoors and I did not lose it outside, in an open space, even beyond 100 m. Also, the multipoint connection in combination with iPhoneWith Mac, it's snappy and switching from one to the other takes less than 2 seconds.
I made several test calls with the Tour Pro 3 to my satisfaction and that of the other party. One of the callers even boasted that he could hear me a little better than usual. Voice editing presets work. I really liked the one labeled Natural.
After almost two weeks of testing, I can also confirm the battery life data. With only slight deviations in both directions, they matched what the manufacturer promises in all situations. When charging, the headphones went from 1% to 35% in the first ten minutes, which corresponds to almost 4 hours of playback. MaxI reached maximum capacity with a half-charged case in 50 minutes, after which the level dropped to 27%.
To the JBL Headph app addressoneI would say that the interface of the smartwatch is one of the best. The reactions are fast enough and everything is clearly and logically arranged. Perhaps only the initial launch after activating the headphones could be a little more responsive. Unfortunately, you will not find Czech among the supported languages at the moment, but a welcome fact is that the notifications do not lack diacritics, thanks to which they are well readable on the small display of the case.
Overall, I would rate the JBL Tour Pro 3 above all as soundly above average in its price category and equipped with all the functions that one could expect today from a more premium product, which these headphones definitely are.
