One of the most striking novelties of the recently released operating system iOS 18 is undoubtedly a rather fundamentally redesigned control center, which is now divided into multiple pages, which would  should make it even easier for you to control your phone. With the current version, in addition Apple obviously not satisfied and in future versions iOS intends to update it. He confirmed this in the beta released yesterday iOS 18.1, which brings additional capabilities to this key system element.

While at present the button for activating/deactivating WiFi and VPN is nested in the control center in the larger Connections section and therefore the former cannot be controlled "separately", i.e. outside of this larger element similar to, for example, a flashlight, calculator and so on, with the arrival iOS 18.1 it will be possible. Both WiFi and VPN will receive separate individual icons that can be placed outside the large Connections section, which may suit some more than the current solution. At the same time Apple adds an option to the settings to reset the control center layout to its original form, so if you find that you have already played with the elements in it too much and it is now unnecessarily overcombined, from iOS 18.1 it will be possible to simply return everything back to its original form. So this is definitely a positive that will please many.
