Installation is definitely not complicated. The surface must be clean and dry. If your monitor meets this condition, it is a good idea to first practice fitting the tape and then choose which edge will be most suitable in terms of the location of the socket and, consequently, the control box. Then you can start sticking it, taking into account the size of the screen so that the tape evenly covers the edges with radiation. The last thing to do before pairing with the Govee application Home, is to organize the cables in the corners with the help of the included clips and the rest of the cabling towards the power source. In my case, it was a matter of just a few minutes. The tape held very well even when the cable was bent with clips in the corners and gave my workstation the expected effect. In this context, the benefits of the many adjustable parameters and presets that the Govee application brings into play cannot be overlooked. Home. There is definitely plenty to choose from when it comes to depicting the atmosphere, so in addition to the pleasant iridescence in the colors of the northern lights, for example, you can make the space flicker and imitate lightning, fire, ripples on the water surface after a drop hits it, and many other phenomena. I was also inspired by the shared efforts of other users hidden under DIY. The way to create shortcuts for Siri could be a little more straightforward, but it's not a terribly complicated process. I found the control box quite practical, you just need to find the ideal position to place it. It would perhaps make organizing the wiring easier if there were a cable leading from it to theonewhich power supply was not down, aesthetics can be achieved with a little effort. It is a pity that the manufacturer did not prefer a matte finish due to glare and visible fingerprints. The strip cannot be shortened, which, however, does not really make much sense given its purpose for 27″ to 34″ diagonals. I welcomed the fact that even in daylight, the backlight looks nice. In the early evening, in the twilight, the ability to render a wide range of shades stands out even more. If you are looking for a way to relieve your eyes and embellish the place where you work, play or do other forms of relaxation, the Govee Dreamview G1 Smart LED backlight for the 27-34 monitor is definitely worth considering.
