The point of touchHLE is to keep old games alive. With the development of the operating system iOS and the deprecation of some APIs means that apps that are too old and no longer receive updates are not compatible with the latest versions of the operating system. For example, modern iPhones and iPads cannot run 32-bit apps, so they cannot run most apps from the early days of the store. App StoreThanks to touchHLE, those who miss these apps and games will have another chance.ancand enjoy them again without having to own the older ones iPhone.
Developers have already managed to resurrect games like Shrek, Resident Evil, and Crash Bandicoot: Nitro Kart 3D this way. Of course, everything is very experimental and limited at the moment, but it is definitely interesting to see how developers are working on launching applications for iOS on different platforms.
