In the past Apple for its iPhones, it stated that their batteries are designed to retain 80% of their capacity over 500 full charge cycles (one cycle being a complete discharge and re-charge, even intermittently). As soon as the battery capacity drops below 80%, Apple recommends replacing it. For the iPhone 15 (Pro), he has previously said that the batteries in them should be able to handle "only" 500 charging cycles while maintaining at least 80% of the battery capacity, but now the portal 9to5mac Apple said that new tests have shown that batteries in the latest iPhoneThey can handle up to 1000 charges while maintaining 80% capacity. In addition, the testing was supposed to faithfully simulate user behavior, so we are apparently not just talking about laboratory conditions, but a reality that everyone should approach.

The good news is, in a way, that Apple According to him, he is now examining the battery life of older iPhones in the same way that he has now found a significant improvement in the 15 (Pro) series. It is therefore possible that even older models will not be able toonec will show that their batteries are more durable than previously thought. If you are wondering how it is possible that the batteries in the latest iPhonech have improved so significantly, then it is according to the words Applu combination of updated battery components that are more modern and therefore offer longer life, along with more advanced software and hardware power management systems.
I have 15 since November and the service life is already at 99%, so I don't know.
: D: D: D: D: D
I have iPhone since October and I'm still on 100% and that I don't spare him at all (15pro)
I was at 99% after a month. 30 cycles.
13 per max bought two months after release still 98% 😂😂 which seems a bit suspicious to me, but I don't know if it will last as long as new 😂
I agree, my charging is limited to 80%, I've had it since the first day of sale and I use it the same as my previous iPhones (I change it to a new Pro every year) and I still have it 100% and 121 cycles.
Here it seems to me that whoever will have under 100%, so it doesn't have an active charging limit of 80%. At this time I had about 96-97% on previous models
Since I bought it, I've had my charge set to 15 with a cap of 80% and after 60 cycles I have 99% health... so your theory is wrong
137 cycles and 100% .. I'm surprised, last year I had maybe 96%.
I have optimized charging turned on, just today I checked that I still had 88% charged again.. 🤷🏻♂️
IP 14 for old year in 250 cycles 100%, currently 280 cycles and 97% (coconut battery shows 98,2%)
Sorry for the duplicate comment, it didn't show
IP 14 For the old year and in 250 cycles 100%, currently 280 cycles and 97% (according to coconut battery 98,2%)
I have a 1,5-year-old batt in the seventh grade, it shows 100% and the phone sometimes turns off at 30%, sometimes at 60% :-D Battery from iCare.pl.
Hey I have 14pro since 9/22 and I have 99% too. Compared to the 12, there is a stronger battery because of the "always on" display!!!
149 cycles 100% lifetime I often use the charge limit up to 80%
I have Iphone 12 pro. 2x rear glass replaced. Once front LCD replaced. Battery is original and I have 80% and that's what the phone gets for that 😄 I can easily last a whole day. I don't know people who charge once every two days... of course if I drive 1000km and have online navigation turned on, then it's worse with the battery life, but otherwise I'm still satisfied and don't need to upgrade. If I replace the battery, I'm curious what it will do with the battery life
