The unveiling of the new generation of iPhones is still quite far away, but preparations for this moment are already in full swing. This is at least according to new information from the leading leakerand appearing on social networks under the nickname Majin Bu, according to which some Asian accessory manufacturers are slowly starting to produce covers for these new products so that they have sufficient quantities in stock before the launch and can flood various online marketplaces with them.
And since accessory manufacturers usually have some of the best resources, since it depends on them whether their pre-made accessories will be compatible with new products that have not yet been introduced or not, their products and mock-ups can be considered almost 100% confirmation of the design of the upcoming iPhones. Now, the first covers and a mockup of the basic iPhone 16 have been leaked, both images can be found in the gallery below.
As you can see for yourself, even accessory manufacturers are obviously counting on the fact that the rear photo module of the iPhone 16 will change radically this year. Specifically, instead of the previous square with rounded corners and a diagonal arrangement of the lenses, it will be reworked into a vertically oriented oval slightly reminiscent of the iPhone X camera. This change has Apple approach mainly for the reason that it will allow iPhone 16s to shoot spatial videos, which will then be playable on Vision Pro and other headsets. The current placement of cameras on iPhonech 15 does not allow this option.
