Even this weekend, we nostalgically remember the game titles that once managed to entertain us immensely. Games in 2004 were less elaborate, graphically weaker, and everyone watched when the game came out on DVD instead of CD. Even so, it was able to produce incredible titles that players love to return to even after years. So let's see what interesting things 2004 brought in this regard.

Half-Life 2
In 2004, a complete revelation. Perfection, great graphics, great physics, great options, great story. An excellent game that is waiting for its remake/remaster.
GTA: San Andreas
Personally, I consider GTA 3, Vice City and Sand Andreas as a kind of trilogy. After all, the games looked very similar thanks to the same angina. San Andreas surpassed the previous two parts in scope, freedom and processing. Great piece.
The Sims 2
Continuation of the great polishes. The second part, of course, improved both the graphics and game options. Probably the most popular title, for which a number of data discs were released.
Doom 3
A horror shooter that stood out for its time with a great engine and processing. At that time, players were troubled by higher demands on HW, because all the effects were able to really overwhelm the sets of that time.
Far Cry
A great fps affair where you looked at tropical islands. A title followed by Crysis in style. Of course, the graphics were great for that time.
World of Warcraft
An MMORPG that still lives on today. A legendary game with millions of active players, which has already received several data discs and has become a kind of model of how an MMORPG should look.
Need for Speed: Underground 2
The pinnacle of the NFS series. According to many, the best part of the whole series. Gamers are clamoring for a remaster and a return to the roots. Quite simply, probably the most successful part, which I would like to play even today.
Prince of Persia: Warrior Within
Sequel to The Sands of Time. This part was a bit darker, bloodier and overall more hilarious.
Unreal Tournament 2004
Compared to the previous part, UT 2004 brought new maps, slightly better graphics and kept multiplayer lovers very entertained for several years.
