If you didn't believe until now that artificial intelligence has huge potential and can change a lot in our world, you will probably change your mind today. OpenAI, which stands for example for chatwith a shoe ChatGPT has officially introduced its new AI video generator to the world. It is called Sora, it is currently only available to selected institutions, graphic designers, filmmakers and artists, and its results seem to be literally and figuratively incredible. By the way, take a look at one of the first videos that OpenAI published, as well as a series of videos below, which are starting to flood social networks.
Introducing Sora, our text-to-video model.
Sora can create videos of up to 60 seconds featuring highly detailed scenes, complex camera motion, and multiple characters with vibrant emotions. https://t.co/7j2JN27M3W

In its own way, generating videos with the help of artificial intelligence is nothing new. However, all the videos generated in this way so far were united by low quality, illogical processing of some elements in them or overall simplicity. In short and well, it was by no means Hollywood blockbusters in terms of processing and quality. But that will change now thanks to Sora. This generator only needs a verbal description of what it is supposed to generate, and the results will be of exceptional quality and with lots of details. Of course, the more detailed the description for the video, the better Sora will be able to handle his creation, as he will be able to base it on a greater number of "clues". However, as it seems, there is no need to exaggerate the length of the description. According to posts on the X social network, even relatively short captions are enough to create a literally incredible video, sometimes indistinguishable from reality. And it will be all the more interesting how Sora will improve in the future.

Oh, and filmmakers and actors not only from Hollywood will have nothing to eat
I certainly wouldn't be afraid of that. The AI will need tons of original content to learn from. I think the time is not far when original content will be balanced with gold.
so far it looks like the filmmakers will have plenty to eat because this one cost a hell of a lot.
Agreed. Actors will enter the theaters. No need for a director. max screenwriter and then he will film it himself :)
KoneThe end of an era is coming and not only in film. The technology is expensive and unnecessary, trips to the countryside are unnecessary, unfortunately, the stories from the filming are also just artificial.
