Waze can without any exaggeration be described as one of the most popular mobile navigation systems of all time for several reasons. Its appearance is clear, navigation is usually very accurate and reliable, and perhaps most importantly, the application warns you in advance of problems on the road ahead. It has an interface that allows drivers to report these very things and thus let others know what they should prepare for on a given section of the road, whether it is the police, convoys or impaired driving conditions.

However, Google, which has owned Waze for some time, is not resting on its laurels and is constantly trying to improve the application, which it has done even now. In particular, he reached for a partial redesign of the design, when he changed the reporting options in the application. For example, users were treated to a new danger notification icon in the corner of the screen, which brings up a redesigned menu asking what the user is currently seeing.

The great thing is that the redesign not only improves the design, but also makes it easier to report problems overall. Where until now two or three steps had to be taken, now one step is enough, which is also great from the point of view of driving safety. Users who already have the update available, however, point out that the options in some categories have been slightly rearranged and some options are even completely missing - for example, the option to report a car stopped in the middle of the road.

It is also worth noting that Waze is releasing the new design in waves, so you may not see it yet even if you have updated to the latest version of the app. And tooneSorry, news is not yet available for Apple CarPlay ani Android AutoIt is clear that Waze still has a lot of work to do.
