When Apple last year in June on WWDC announced that it will initially sell its first AR/VR headset Vision Pro only on the territory of the USA, he greatly disappointed many apple lovers. After all, such an interesting product would like to be purchased by users all over the world, not just in the USA. They now have two main options to get the headset - either buy it from resellers, for example on eBay, with the understanding that it will be more expensive and at the same time they will definitely pay VAT and customs duties after the device arrives in the Czech Republic by the transport company, or they go for it "along its own axis". However, if you think that when you Vision Pro you can bring it yourself, no problemoneIf you think you can get through customs without having to pay VAT and customs duties, you are mistaken.

In recent days, German media have been reporting quite extensively that customs officers at local airports, led by Berlin, have detained miniat least 8 people who tried to bring to Germany Vision Pro without additional VAT and customs duty. This of course also applies to this device, so it must be properly paid for at airport counters upon arrival. Although this will increase the final price of the device, however, according to the German media, it is in a way negligible compared to the fines that the authorities give if they "catch" someone who has decided to avoid customs duties. This is exactly what is happening at airports now, and these are not really happy stories. As soon as it happens, it is Vision Pro seized during the investigation of the case, with the fact that the processing speed of similar cases is currently so bad in Germany that the headset can be detained in this way for as long as a year before it is time to solve it.

So if you Vision Pro also attracts you and you want to go get it in person, please be aware that it will need to be properly cleared through customs upon arrival. ŠancThe fact that no one will catch you while carrying the product out of the airport, of course, exists, but it cannot be relied upon. And if customs officers stop you while doing this, you are almost 100% very difficult moments that you will spend without a headset.
