Native applications within the macOS operating system, such as TextEdit, will work best in this case. The easiest way to change the case of text is built right into your Mac's toolbar and takes just a few clicks.
How to Quickly Change Upper and Lower Case on Mac
If you want to quickly change the case on your Mac, follow the instructions below.
- Highlight the text you want to change the capitalization of.
- On the toolbar, click the option Adjust.
- In the Edit menu, move the cursor to the item Transformation.
- Choose from the options Capital letters, Lowercase letters a Letter size.
- Any incorrect use of these options can be quickly undone with a command Back (Cmd + Z).
These three options will change the selected text to either all uppercase, all lowercase, or capitalize each selected word. However, you may need something more specific than the three options provided, such as the ability to capitalize the title.
