When Snoop's manager called to congratulate him on reaching a milestone that 99,9% of all artists in the world can only dream of, Snoop naturally asked about the money and wanted to know how much he earned from those billion Spotify plays. To which the manager told him that it wasn't even $45, just one million crowns for something that almost no one can really achieve. That's why Snoop has been sharply criticizing all streaming services lately and trying to figure out a way to fairly offer music for listening so that the artists themselves get something out of it, and not just the companies providing streaming services. His latest effort was to release an album in the form of an NFT.
