Personal Voice, along with Live Speech, lets you create and securely store a replica of your voice and use it via text on your iPhone (or iPad). Personal Voice can also be set up in the Czech version iOS, but the sentences themselves are read in English. How to activate Personal Voice on iPhone
Personal Voice on an iPhone or iPad is a very valuable feature not only for individuals with medical conditions that may affect the ability to speak. It can also be useful for short-term vocal indisposition and in other similar situations. If you want to activate Personal Voice on your iPhone, follow the instructions below.
- On iPhone, run Settings.
- Click on Disclosure.
- Head to the section Speech and tap on Personal voice.
- Click on Create your own personal voice and follow the instructions on the display.
The recording of the sentences themselves takes about 15 minutes – there are 150 phrases in total. Once you have read the phrases, iPhone creates and saves your Personal Voice, which you can then use within the Live Speech feature.
