What seemed almost unreal in the summer is set to become a reality in the coming days or weeks. Specifically, we are talking about the launch of the new social network Threads, created by Meta as a response to the declining X, the former Twitter. Although the network was launched worldwide in July, it has not yet found its way to the EU, as Meta had to resolve strict rules there for the protection of users' personal data, advertising information, and so on. However, as it now appears, the problem isonefinally solved.

The Wall Street Journal was the first to report on the launch of Threads in the EU a few dozen minutes ago, according to which Meta has already received the green light. It was supposed to come with a special option purely for users in the EU, which would allow them to consume content without the need to create a user profile. On the one hand, this is restrictive, but on the other hand, it is enough for the EU to allow the launch of Threads and, what's more, not to attack later. However, it is a big question whether this step makes sense at all. For example, in the USA, interest in Threads has long since declined, and now the network is just floundering there. X or Twitter, if you prefer, has also already had its main crisis behind it, thanks to which users are no longer fleeing from it by the thousands, and therefore it does not make much sense to talk about any threat to it from Threads. With a bit of exaggeration, it can rather be said that Meta "forcefully" accomplishes what she had planned a long time ago. But who knows, maybe this social network will succeed on the basis of Twitter.
another garbage, for what?
👏
Threads is an old film and the situations in the film are matched by the treatment. People should look at that rather than polluting their mobile phones with more nonsense from Cukrouš.
X is better… You won't be liberally deleted there ;)
I got an email saying they deleted my profile and I only made it a year ago and forgot I had it :D They say my comments are not in line with I don't know what, since I've never been active for a second :D
This type of social networks like X or Threads somehow didn't interest me and so I don't use them. I don't have to be everywhere..
